(VisuComm Infrastructure Services & Information Technologies, LLC)
Owner and Manager
In the 1980’s, Fred Brandli, having an avid interest in Computer Science as a High School student, began his professional career soon after high school graduation designing computer programs for all sorts of local persons and businesses in the Fort Smith Area. Beginning with computer games, while still in school, he soon moved on to more “serious” programming projects such as chemistry simulations, electrical circuit load modeling, as well as rental and asset tracking programs.
While serving in the USAF he was exposed to large scale computer systems, mainframes, networking, satellite communications, database management, resource allocation, security, confidential information handling, and systems analysis and design. He served at several duty stations to include a forward Airbase in Europe and with USAF Space Command.
After military service he was employed in the financial services industry and later worked for one of the world’s largest systems integration corporations both as a field engineer and training and directing teams of computer technicians in a configuration center building PC’s, laptops and Servers for major brands such as IBM, Compaq, HP, Packard-Bell, Gateway, Toshiba as well as many minor and house brands. While there he built and configured literally thousands of such systems and developed several systems testing and restoration programs and techniques. A desire to return to the area of his youth led him to return to the Northwest Arkansas area. There he worked with several local manufacturing companies in support of their PC’s, Servers and Networks.
He is now the owner of VisuComm Infrastructure Services & Information Technologies and happy to be using his broad experience with many different IT Technologies to help small businesses that don’t have the resources and in-house expertise to develop their own IT departments, to use those technologies to be more efficient and competitive.
Fred Brandli is proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and be active in local Scouting at the Troop, Team, Crew and District level. He graduated with Honors from John Brown University, with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Information Systems with an emphasis in Business. He, his wife and children, reside in Northwest Arkansas, enjoying the local climate and culture and volunteering in the community in various local organizations.
